This was our second time shooting our first handgun. The gun in the picture is one of Tom's, it's small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. I brought a a pumpkin and some&nbsp;Kevlar&nbsp;to shoot at. The Kevlar actually stopped the bullet after it traveled about 2 inches. I have been looking around for a while and finally decided to just go for the most inexpensive semi auto I could find. I bought a Hi-Point 9mm after reading hundreds positive reviews I felt confident enough in it's reliability and quality to go for it. I think California's waiting period is a good idea, but 10 days is too long. We drove through the forest for about 30 minutes. They had pretend people shooting at us and fake IED that we had to respond to. There were a few other senarios.
